About us

We are Mal & Diane Gray, and have been at The Butcher & Beast since 2009. This month we have seen alot of changes at the pub, we have undergone a full refurbishment. We haven't lost the traditional style but have made it more comfortable, with new fixed seating, comfy seats and new tables along with a huge inprovement in the ladies tolilets. 
We have both been in the trade for a number of years, the last 12 years with Bateman's Brewery of Wainfleet. Which we have enjoyed being apart of a great company.

Mal runs the front of the house while Diane runs the award winning kitchen, having come runner up in the best food pub grub category at the Brewery's Rewarding success evening.

We are also very excited as we are listed in this years Good Beer Guide 2011 as Mal is very passionate about Cask Ales. XB and XXXB are always available, We have six hand pumps, so hopefully there will be a beer to your liking.
